Starting To Learn Remote Viewing


Do you know what the term 'remote viewing' means? It's the ability to 'see' places, objects and people that are not actually within your line of sight visually. That is, you can't see or hear these people, objects or places by visual means, but you can use your own psychic ability to 'see' things within your mind's eye, even if you can't see them with your physical eyes.

Remote viewing is not the same thing as an out-of-body experience. Out-of-body experience is called astral traveling and it's the act of your ethereal essence, or your spirit leaving your body and traveling to a place away from where your physical body is.

With remote viewing your spirit never leaves your body at all. You're simply using your own ESP to locate and view the things you want to view.

Every person on this planet has latent psychic ability that he or she may not know is present. It may not have been developed in us when we were young. Most of us only use 10% of our brain's actual capacity, which means that 90% of our brainpower is untouched. In addition, it's untrained, so we don't know what to do with it even if we can access it.

Imagine being able to focus your mind and be reassured that your kids are okay when they're away from home. This kind of peace of mind is invaluable.

Where remote viewing differs from other types of psychic abilities and functions is that most people can learn do it easily enough. There have been studies performed on non-psychics that show a little training and some mental exercise can result in positive results.

Try these steps to remote viewing on your own:

*Find a comfortable chair in a quiet place and close your eyes. Make sure you're not distracted by anything like noises, television, bodily discomfort like having to go to the bathroom, and so on. You want to be completely free of distractions before you begin your remote viewing exercise.

*Close your mouth and breathe deeply through your nose, relaxing as you do so. You may find it easier to control your breathing if you lightly press your tongue to the roof of your mouth. This will also help make it easier to avoid yawning during this phase of the exercise.

*One of the key elements to remote viewing is that you have to believe it's possible to do it. Therefore, as you go deeper and deeper into your state of relaxation, suspend any disbelief you have and simply know that you are very capable of seeing events, people or places that you can't physically see with your eyes at the moment.

*Start your remote viewing exercise by targeting something simple, so that you can show yourself you indeed are capable of this psychic ability. Perhaps you could 'place' yourself standing in front of your own currently relaxed self, with your standing self looking backward at your relaxed self. This can be difficult at first, but continue to patiently perform this exercise. Before long, you should be able to see yourself from this objective angle, as others see you. This is wonderfully surprising.

*Once you can see yourself from this kind of relatively simple remote viewing perspective, make it a little bit more challenging. Pick a location that you're very familiar with but that is nonetheless some distance away from you. For example, perhaps you can use a family member or friend's home as the location you want to see. As you train your 'remote viewing' on this location, take note of anything that may not be as it normally is when you've been there before. Perhaps there are books stacked on the coffee table or some scattered toys on the floor. Make note of these 'out of place' things that make this particular view unique from any others you have seen previously. As soon as you get a chance, call and ask your friend or family member to confirm what you saw with your remote viewing. Confirming that your view was accurate is very important, because it will give you greater confidence in your ability to do this type of remote viewing.

As you become more practiced, you can also try another type of remote viewing exercise. Instead of viewing places or people you want to see, try seeing if you can 'view' a friend who is doing a particular motion. Have a friend or family member sit in another room so that you can't see him or her, and then have them repeat a simple movement like hand waving or twirling hair. With your remote viewing skills, see if you can see what your friend or family member is doing and then compare notes to see how accurate you are.

One positive side effect to spending time practicing remote viewing is that you may find yourself much more adept at getting into a relaxed state as you do so. The relaxed state you put yourself into when you practice remote viewing is very much like the trancelike relaxation people are put into when they are put under hypnosis. Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis is a state where you are very alert and aware of what's going on around you, but you are also very relaxed. This state of extreme relaxation and alertness at the same time makes it much easier to get in touch with your subconscious mind.

All psychic abilities are accessed through the sub-conscious, so the more times you practice your remote viewing exercises the more you'll be able to achieve.
