Remote Viewing - The Scientific View

Do you know what remote viewing is? It's a psychic ability that allows you to see people, places and things that are not within range of your normal sight. That is, you can't see or hear what's going on by conventional means, but you can use your own natural psychic ability and learn how to see things without actually being there in person.

However, there should be a distinction, here. Remote viewing is not the same as an out of body experience. Doing astral travel, or having an out of body experience, is actually where you travel in spirit form to view a place or an event 'in person,' not in your physical body, but with your spirit.

Remote viewing lets you as the psychic use your psychic powers to seek out what you want to find. It's a form of psychic dowsing. You as the remote viewer are using a kind of ESP to find what you're looking for.

All of us have latent psychic abilities, but some of us never were able to develop them when we were young. Most people only ever use around 10% of their brains' full power, which means that 90% of your brain's power is left dormant, untrained and untapped, so that we never know its full potential.

Imagine what remote viewing can do for you. You could simply 'check in' and make sure your children were okay while at school or at a friend's house, for example, which gives you significant peace of mind as a parent. This type of security and peace is just one advantage to being able to use remote viewing; in fact, its benefits are priceless.

Where remote viewing differs from other types of psychic abilities and functions is that most people can learn do it easily enough. There have been studies performed on non-psychics that show a little training and some mental exercise can result in positive results.

Let's take a look at some steps you can take to try remote viewing for yourself.

*Sit down in a quiet place and in a comfortable chair. Make sure you're not distracted by anything like noises, lights, hunger, or other discomfort.

*Allow your body to release all tension and relax. When your eyes are closed, you might feel the urge to yawn. Try pressing your tongue lightly against the roof of your mouth and breathe through your nose. You'll find the urge to yawn vanishes and you'll find it much easier to control your breathing

*It's important that you can at least temporarily suspend any disbelief you might have about remote viewing as you do this exercise. Believing that you can do it is a major factor in the success you going to have with remote viewing. As you go ever deeper into your relaxed state, allow yourself to believe that you can truly see places, events or people that you are not physically able to see with your eyes right now.

*Start by remote viewing a place or person you know very well. The easiest person would be yourself. Try to view yourself from a point directly in front of where you're sitting, as though looking into a mirror. Many people struggle with looking at themselves from the opposite perspective, but you'll gain some insight as to how others see you.

*Once you can see yourself from this kind of relatively simple remote viewing perspective, make it a little bit more challenging. Pick a location that you're very familiar with but that is nonetheless some distance away from you. For example, perhaps you can use a family member or friend's home as the location you want to see. As you train your 'remote viewing' on this location, take note of anything that may not be as it normally is when you've been there before. Perhaps there are books stacked on the coffee table or some scattered toys on the floor. Make note of these 'out of place' things that make this particular view unique from any others you have seen previously. As soon as you get a chance, call and ask your friend or family member to confirm what you saw with your remote viewing. Confirming that your view was accurate is very important, because it will give you greater confidence in your ability to do this type of remote viewing.

If you prefer, you could have a friend sitting in another room repeating an obvious movement. This could be scratching the nose or waving a hand or something simple. Try your remote viewing exercise and then confirm with your friend what you saw.

After spending some time exercising and practicing your remote viewing techniques, you'll find that it's suddenly quicker to reach the level of deep relaxation you need to repeat it again and again. This deep trance state is similar to that of the relaxed state reached when people undergo hypnosis. You will still be wide awake at all times, but you've allowed yourself to relax so deeply that you're able to access your sub-conscious mind.

All psychic abilities are accessed through the sub-conscious, so the more times you practice your remote viewing exercises the more you'll be able to achieve.
